Driving less? You may be able to reduce your insurance costs without changing your driving habits with CAA MyPace – Canada’s first pay-as-you-go auto insurance payment program. How it works is simple:

 

1. Enroll in CAA MyPace and pay your base rate plus your first 1,000 kilometres.

2. Install the CAA MyPace device in your car.

3. Download the CAA MyPace App to your smartphone. You can monitor your usage at any time by logging in to your CAA Account online and/or via the CAA MyPace mobile app.

4. Drive. We’ll automatically reload your next 1,000 kilometres for you.

In Alberta, AMA Insurance and Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company (AMAIC) offer AMA MyRide. Just for signing up for AMA MyRide, eligible drivers instantly save up to 10% off their AMAIC auto insurance premium. AMA MyRide is an app that provides feedback on your driving habits and the scores you get won’t affect your insurance premiums. Currently, AMA MyRide does not use your scores to lower insurance premiums.

Optional auto for Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia (BCAA Optional Car Insurance) is underwritten by CAA Insurance Company. Auto insurance through AMA Insurance is underwritten by Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company (AMAIC) in Alberta.

Terms and Conditions

1Auto & Property Insurance and CAA Tire Coverage are underwritten by CAA Insurance Company. Tire Coverage is not offered in Alberta.

 

2Maximum discount while enrolled in the CAA Connect program is 15% on renewal after one year. This condition does not apply to AMA MyRide.

 

3Underwriting rules apply. Rating applied to vehicles with four (4) winter tires that meet the winter tire designation. Installation no later than November 20 and removed no earlier than April 15. The installation requirement dates do not apply to the winter tire discount provided by AMAIC in Alberta.

 

4To qualify for the discount, you must be a current CAA Member in good standing (CAA Membership dues paid in full by membership expiry date).

 

5In Alberta, insurance is sold by AMA Insurance. Auto and property insurance sold by AMA Insurance are largely underwritten by Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company (some exceptions apply). AMA Insurance sells life and health policies underwritten by 9 different insurers.
